yea, I really hate the useless fanservice they put in, in Grimoire of Zero the fanservice do play a significant role in the plot, but here, it's basically just to fulfill the fans thirst and add 0 shit to the story

It's disappointing to see a potential anime gunned down by fanservice, a lot of fans were expecting plot, but so far the story has been freakin slow and infested with nudes, if I want nude I'd go see hentai or other shit. Some fanservices are fine but this is too much, compared to GoZ fanservice this is a total downgrade, what does having big monstrous D or washing panties stain had to do with the world story? And that sloppy kiss while handholding is viable. Maybe they're just trying to cover the fact that the new characters themselves are boring and cliched, miserably.

OK, you are all overly critical about much of nothing. The discussion over his laundry service highlighted in a very extreme way his lack of self-awareness and social understanding. He is so far out of the norm with human society that he can barely interact successfully with even his fellow classmates. beyond that there is little to no actual "fan service" in this episode to even talk about. As far as I can tell there is little growth in ability and all we have really gotten so far is a better understanding of just where the characters are coming from and where their starting point is. Hopefully the next ep. will see some actual character growth though Sayb's seems more focused on social development than magical.

The fanservice in this show isn't even that bad lmao. There's not even fanservice in every episode. This screams nitpicking if you ask me. The main plot is still the primary focus. Who cares if they throw in a few more light hearted scenes? Not everything has to be edgy darkness. If you think this is a downgrade though, that's a valid opinion. I just don't understand why you're so worked up over minimal fanservice

In fire force it is literaly one girl that does that and it's kind of her quirk to be unlucky. Happens quite rarely. But here we have professor's panties showing in EVERY single scene she's in, EVERY episode, everyone kissing for magic replenishment, as if there is no other way, and weird lines like in the start. Really is annoying when they force it like that all the time. I really liked the first season with zero and mercenary but this one is just showing too much for no reason and it's distracting from the plot

Tamaki was in a large enough amount of Fire Force episodes for it to be very jarring. Not only that, but she's not the only character who's used for fanservice. Most of the cast are, including the males and even the villains. You're massively exaggerating how much fanservice this show has. No, there is not panties showing in every scene the professor is in for fucks sake. Kissing for magic replenishment is "fanservice" in your eyes? You really just sound like a massive prude tbh, and worse, even a hypocrite. No way you made excuses for Fire Force's fanservice but you're losing your mind over this...

The "fanservice" scenes in this aren't even in important scenes, unlike with Fire force where it happens in some of the most key and important moments (*cough cough* when Shinra came in to save Tamaki from the guy she idolized in season 1 *cough cough*)

I don't think we've been watching the same anime dude. I'm pretty sure there's a scene of Loux Krystas shot from low angle or excessively showing her underwear in every episode so far.

Now compare this to shows like Fire force where there's pretty blatant fan service in near every episode. Low angle shots counting as fanservice is a stretch unless they explicitly show panties like in today's ep

I think fire force is a bad example... they literally have. A whole character made for fanservice any time she gets screen time.. and the plot and angles around the latom blondie aint better too..

I never cared about the fanservice to begin with. I didn't even notice it most of the time. I only brought up fire force to counter that guy's argument about a lot of fanservice, because I strongly disagreed with him

late comment but, if you look again, that's not her underwear. It's part of the corset she's wearing. Though I do agree the artstyle is rather fanservice-y, quite in contrast with GoZ. Its 2 sides of a coin I guess, some like you hate it. Some like me don't mind/like it.
